London Actors Perform Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’ at Rice University This Week
If you would enjoy seeing a Shakespeare play performed by talented actors, you get the opportunity to do so this week at Rice University. Actors From The London Stage will present ‘Twelfth Night,’ Shakespeare’s famous comedy about love, Thursday, Feb. 16 – Saturday, Feb. 18 at Rice University’s Hamman Hall.
In its 35th year, Actors From The London Stage is one of the world’s oldest established touring Shakespeare theater companies. AFTLS actors come from prestigious theatre companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
Open to the public, the AFTLS performances at Rice University begin at 7:30 pm. A general admission ticket costs $20, $15 if you are a Rice faculty member or student (with ID). For groups of 10 or more, the cost per person is $10. Call 713-348-PLAY to purchase tickets in advance.

For instance, this Sunday, Feb. 19, the Rice Symphonic Band will offer a free 1-hour musical event from 3pm-4pm.
