The Millennium Waterway Named Finalists in 2012 HBJ Landmark Awards
We’re pleased to announce that The Millennium Waterway Ave is a finalist in two categories for the 2012 Houston Business Journal’s Landmark Awards. Each year the Landmark Awards recognize top commercial real estate projects and developments making a significant impression on the city’s landscape.
Located just outside of Houston, The Millennium apartments in The Woodlands is a finalist in the Landmark Awards’ Green category as well as the Multifamily. Winners will be announced this Thursday during an awards dinner at the Houstonian Hotel.
This is the second time this year the Woodlands apartments received recognition for green efforts. In February Energy Solutions Center honored The Dinerstein Companies, parent company of The Millennium Waterway Ave, and CenterPoint Energy with the Partnership for Innovative Energy Solutions for our energy efficient gas technologies.
The Millennium Waterway became the first LEED Silver certified apartments in the area, and is one of the greenest apartments in the Houston area and in Texas. In fact, CenterPoint Energy is using our apartments as a case study in promotion of its Gas Advantage Multi-Family Program. Click here to see the case study.
